The 4th Asia Pacific AIDS & Co-infections Conference (APACC) (commenced on June 27) successfully completed on 29 June 2019 in Hong Kong. Dr. Patrick Li, one of the Chairs of APACC 2019 and the Vice-chairman of the Hong Kong AIDS Foundation, gave a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony. As the endorser of APACC 2019, Eris Lau, our Chief Executive, Johnny Li, our Deputy Director of Programmes and Jason Chan, our Programme and Research Manager, also participated to share our work experiences with experts in the Asia Pacific region and obtained the latest developments in HIV treatment.APACC provides a much-needed scientific platform that focuses on the developments, issues and needs surrounding HIV and co-infections in the Asia Pacific region. Researchers have the opportunity to present and discuss the latest developments and are offered opportunities for interaction, networking and collaboration building.
The Hong Kong AIDS Foundation is proud to be part of the Forum and we look forward to the next APACC so that we can team together to end HIV/AIDS by 2030.
