The Hong Kong AIDS Foundation is proud to be invited to co-organize and co-host the 5th AIDS Forum of Beijing, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan (the Forum).
The Forum will be held at the GIS NTU Convention Center in Taipei City on 12-13 April, 2019. The theme will be “Diversified Prevention Programmes and Trainings”.
As one of the organizers, we, the people at the Foundation, are delighted to host and present our topics at the Forum. It will be our pleasure to share our unique work experiences in the context of HIV prevention in front of elites from the medical and scientific communities as well as non-government sectors.
The aim of the Forum is to promote the goal of reinforcing UNAIDS 90-90-90 targets for 2020 which includes these three elements: 90% of people living with HIV know their status; of whom 90% are on treatment; of whom 90% are virally suppressed. More importantly, we also strongly need and call upon the world to implement the “fourth 90’ which has the aim to ensure 90% of people with a suppressed viral load have a good quality of life and are living with dignity, in a bid to remove discrimination from their lives.
