Most people are well aware that using condom properly is effective in HIV prevention. In fact, some medicines are effective in HIV prevention as well; there are two major types: Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP).
The Foundation is going to organise the seminar “All You Should Know About Pre/Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP/PEP) for HIV” at Cordis, Hong Kong on 7 November 2020 (Saturday) at 11:00am. The guest speaker, Dr. SIT Yao Wai, Special Preventive Programme of Department of Health, will share the facts and recent findings on PrEP and PEP.
This seminar is suitable for:
– People at higher risk for HIV infection
– Healthcare professionals
– People interested in understanding more about PrEP and PEP
