Dr. LEONG Iek Hou

Dr. LEONG Iek Hou, Bachelor’s degree of Clinical Medicine in Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences; Master of Public Health in the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. LEONG completed Health System Leadership Programme in The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care and is currently an academician of Public Health in Macao Academy of Medicine and the Chairman of Macau Public Health Professional Institute. She was also the Consultants of Public Health in the Health Bureau, the Director of the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, Hygiene Supervisor and the Secretary General of the AIDS Prevention and Control Commission. Dr. LEONG’s main responsibilities include monitoring and controlling infectious diseases, implementing and promoting vaccination programs, health quarantine and AIDS prevention and control etc.
