Senior Medical & Health Officer, Special Preventive Programme of Centre for Health Protection

Dr. YIP is currently the Senior Medical & Health Officer of the Special Preventive Programme, the government’s operative unit on AIDS. She is now overseeing both the HIV Surveillance Office and the Red Ribbon Centre of the Special Preventive Programme. The former is in charge of the HIV/AIDS surveillance system which plays a critical role in tracking the epidemic, formulating policies and evaluating HIV/AIDS responses. The latter is an HIV/AIDS education, resource and research centre specializing in HIV prevention and health promotion.
