Shang Hong,AIDS prevention & treatment and laboratory medicine scientist, Academician of China Academy of Engineering.She is currently The director of the First Hospital of China Medical University, the director of NHC Key Laboratory of AIDS Immunology and the director of the National Clinical Research Center for Laboratory Medicine. She is also the vice chairman of the Chinese Medical Association, the vice chairman of the Chinese Association of STD and AIDS Prevention and Control and the chairman of Chinese Medical Doctor Association of Lab Medicine.
She has long been engaged in the research of HIV key laboratory areas and clinical laboratory standardization,and has made a series of research achievements in HIV reservoir detection, new markers to predict the progress of AIDS, identification and transmission laws of new HIV recombinant strains in China, as well as the establishment of reference values for commonly used clinical tests for Chinese adults for the first time.
She has published over 300 research papers as the first or corresponding author in journals such as Nature and The Lancet.She won 2 second prizes of national scientific
